The four kinds of Sprinter van images you will find online
First, factory passenger vans: three or four forward-facing rows, gray or black cloth, a wide sliding door and a rear luggage area. Second, executive conversions: four to fourteen leather captain's chairs, often facing each other over a table, with ambient lighting and screens. Third, limousine conversions: perimeter sofas, a bar, colored LED strips and dark glass. Fourth, cargo and camper interiors: bare walls, or beds, galleys and cabinetry. Manufacturer press photos usually show European trim, so verify against real fleet photos before assuming a feature is included.
How to read a Sprinter interior photo
Look at the ceiling line first. If the photographer is standing upright in the aisle, it is a high-roof van with about 6 feet 4 inches of headroom. Count the rows and check whether the last row sits against the rear doors — if it does, there is no luggage bay, and a group with airline bags will be stacking suitcases on laps. Check for a real aisle rather than a step-over gap. Look for USB ports and roof ducting, which indicate rear climate control. Finally, check whether the seats are captain's chairs with armrests or a hard bench.
Exterior photos: what the shape tells you
Sprinter bodies come in three wheelbases and two roof heights, and the silhouette gives away which one you are looking at. Count windows behind the driver's door: an extended-wheelbase 170-inch van shows a long rear overhang past the back wheel, which is where the luggage space lives. A high roof reads as a squared, tall profile with the roofline well above the driver's head in the photo. Dual rear wheels indicate a 3500 chassis, the heavy-duty version used for 15 passenger vans and most conversions.

Stock photography is the most common source of rental disappointment. Sprinter Van Rentals photographs its fleet by configuration — 12 passenger, 15 passenger and executive — so the images you compare match the van that shows up. Choose your city and dates, open the vehicle you are considering, and you will see interior seating, the luggage bay and the amenity list side by side with live all-in pricing. If you want a specific layout confirmed before you pay, call (971) 328-2665.
