Do you need a special license?

A standard state driver's license covers personal, church, school, team and most corporate group use. Commercial passenger-carrying-for-hire operations are a separate regulatory matter — if you are selling seats, check your state's chauffeur and for-hire rules before you drive.
Hiring a chauffeur instead

Additional drivers can be added at booking or at pickup and must meet the same requirements and present their license — anyone who will take the wheel needs to be listed, because an unlisted driver can void coverage. International licenses are accepted alongside a passport, with an International Driving Permit recommended.
